Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS), microcosm of global insurance and asset management Sun Life, announced the appointment of Nathalie Bernardo as Vice President and Site Head for its Philippine unit.
In a statement, SLGS said Bernardo will be responsible in pursuing technology and digital solutions and outcomes for its Asia and business operations as well as client care for Canada and the US.
According to Tarun Sareen, SLGS Managing Director: “We are excited to have Nathalie Bernardo on board. She brings strong leadership credentials and rich experience in multi-functional operations management, client engagement, global solutions delivery, building organizational capabilities and delivering technology solutions for the business.”
With more than 20 years of experience, Bernardo has “strong leadership credentials in IT solutions, global delivery models, IT service management and customer service delivery,” said SLGS. Her experience covers multi-function operations management, multi geography support, shared services, global delivery center management, customer engagement, and vendor management.
Bernardo said she looks forward to making SLGS Philippines aligned with SLGS global strategies.
“My primary focus will be enabling business growth and ensuring the delivery of top-quality services. I will also work towards harnessing the strength of our dynamic workforce to enhance our value proposition and foster essential business partnerships across various markets,” she said in the company statement.
SLGS, formerly Sun Life Asia Service Centers, first started its Philippine operations in 1991 and in 2006, expanded to India.
The company describes itself as a “microcosm of Sun Life” and it has emerged as a talent and innovation hub for digital transformation providing technology, knowledge services and business services to Sun Life businesses globally.
