36 wanted individuals nabbed in Cordillera


CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police nabbed 36 wanted persons in manhunt operations in the Cordillera region from December 10 to 16.

The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division said the Benguet Police Provincial Office arrested 11 wanted persons, followed by the Baguio City Police Office with 10, the Ifugao PPO with five, the Kalinga PPO with four, the Mountain Province PPO with three, and the Abra PPO and the Apayao PPO with one arrest each.

Five of those apprehended were most wanted persons, four on the provincial and one on the municipal level.

Cordillera was also peaceful as zero crime incidents were recorded due to the intensified anti-criminality strategies and law enforcement campaign of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera during the week.

Sixty-four municipalities and five police stations in Baguio City achieved this.

Zero crime incidents were recorded in the 23 municipalities in Abra, 11 in Benguet, 10 in Mountain Province, nine in Ifugao, seven in Apayao, and four in Kalinga.

PRO-Cordillera said they are continuously conducting intensified police operations, visibility, and community engagement to ensure peace and order this holiday season.
