CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela – The search continues for an aircraft reported missing on November 30 in this province.

The Cagayan Valley Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said a ground search is under way in San Mariano, Dinapigue, and Palanan, Isabela amid bad weather.
Rescuers are composed of the Palanan Municipal DRRMO, Palanan police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Army, and civilian volunteers.
They are in Barangay Dinadian, Palanan at present conducting an operation.
A team from the Isabela Provincial Mobile Force Company is in Barangay Casala, San Mariano, Isabela for an operation.
Authorities are eyeing an aerial search operation once the weather improves.
The Cyclone light aircraft was reported missing after it left the airport here for Palanan.
The plane with tail number RPC-1234 was piloted by Capt. Levy N. Abul II and has one passenger on board.
Report said aircraft left the Cauayan City Airport at about 9:39 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive at the Palanan Airport less than an hour later. It failed to arrive on the same day.
