PRC cites 80% passing rate for November 2023 NLE result


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Saturday, Dec. 2, that out of 32,203 examinees, 25,761 successfully passed the November 2023 Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE).

Aristotle Calayan Castronuevo of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and Cris Vinz Corpuz Tomboc of West Visayas State University- La Paz, were the topnotchers in the board exam result, averaging 91 percent.

Following closely, Carl Justine Talavera Pantig from the University of the Assumption secured second place with 90.80 percent.

Here is the complete list of examinees who achieved the highest places in the NLE results:

The examination occurred on Nov. 11 and 12, held in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Kidapawan, and Palawan.

It was administered by the Board of Nursing headed by its chairman Elsie A. Tee, along with its members, Carmelita C. Divinagracia, Elizabeth C. Lagrito, Zenaida C. Gagno, Marylou B. Ong, Merle L. Salvani and Leah Primitiva S. Paquiz.

"The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations," PRC noted.
