BACOLOD CITY – The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) and Bacolod Police Station 8 arrested six persons and dismantled a suspected drug den in a buy-bust operation in Purok Kaingin, Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Thursday, November 30.

Police identified the suspects as Aeron Grace Andal, 25, of Barangay Vista Alegre here but temporarily residing in Barangay Singcang-Airport and the subject of the operation; Stephanie Espinosa, 20; Audie Medel, 23, and Freddie Denisa, 52, residents of Barangay Singcang-Airport; Maria Aliguin, 27, of Barangay 2, this city, and Samuel Gallardo, 38, of Barangay Sum-ag, here.
Suspects yielded 75 grams of suspected shabu worth P510,000; P13,000 boodle money, three lighters, two improvised tooters, and P33.
Police Capt. Melvin Mercado, head of Police Station 8, said that Andal was monitored by PDEG, following reports on her illegal activities.
Mercado added that Medel and Denisa were arrested for a drug offense and released from jail a few months ago.
Andal faces charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug den. The rest of the suspects will be charged for visiting a drug den.
