The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday, Dec. 2, said the northeast monsoon, which "slightly weakened" affects Northern Luzon.

In Batanes and Cagayan including the Babuyan Islands, cloudy skies with rains will be felt while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced in the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of Cagayan Valley both due to northeast monsoon or "amihan."
PAGASA warned the public in Batanes and Cagayan including the Babuyan Islands of threats from possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, in Aurora and Quezon, cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected due to easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
