Newborn baby boy abandoned in Lapu-Lapu City

CEBU CITY â€“ Authorities have asked the public to help find the person who abandoned a baby boy by the road in Lapu-Lapu City on Thursday night, November 30.

The Lapu-Lapu City Police Office said that the baby boy was found on Aviation Road in Barangay Bankal.

According to a resident, he was awakened by the incessant barking of dogs around midnight.

The resident went out to check and saw something wrapped with a cloth.

He later heard a baby crying and was shocked to find out that there was a newborn baby outside his house.

The baby was taken to the Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital. Police are searching for his parents.
