Actor-comedian Jun Urbano, popularly known as Mr. Shooli, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 2. He was 84.

The sad news was confirmed by his son Chris on social media. He uploaded a photo of him and his father with the caption: "I will cherish this moment for the rest of my life. My favorite pic of us. I love you so much, Dad, until we meet again."

A report by ABS-CBN News said Urbano died from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, as confirmed by his family.

Mr. Shooli, a popular television personality in the Philippines during the late 80s, gained fame with his Mongolian-inspired character and satirical commentary on politics and Pinoy pop culture. He also hosted a TV show called "Mongolian Barbecue."

Urbano also appeared in other television shows and commercials.

Son of Manuel Conde, National Artist for Cinema in 2009, Urbano's most recent appearance was at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City where he received the Gawad Plaridel Award in August.
