Comelec lauds Parañaque City agencies for successful conduct of BSKE

The Parañaque Commission on Election (Comelec) conducted a stakeholders' appreciation night for agencies who maintained the smooth and peaceful conduct of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) last Oct. 30.

 According to Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez, the stakeholders' appreciation night was held on Nov.29 at the Gallio Events Hall in Aseana City.

 Olivarez said the Comelec led by election officers Atty. Nesrin Cali and Atty. Mario Vernar Esguerrra expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the eight agencies in the city government.

 He said the agencies recognized during the event were the Traffic and Parking Management Office, Parañaque City police, Public Safety Services Division/Civilian Security Unit, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Public Information Office, City Health Office, City Youth Development Office, and MMDA (Metropolitan Manila Development Authority) Parañaque City.   

The mayor said his brother, Congressman Edwin Olivarez, also joined in the activity and thanked the Comelec for the conduct of honest and clean elections in the city.
