16 families affected by Muntinlupa fire

A total of 16 families were affected when a fire hit a residential area in Muntinlupa early morning of Dec. 2, Saturday. 

According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the fire started from a house in Garcip Compound in Barangay Cupang at about 5:39 a.m..

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 5:44 a.m. and the blaze was put under control at 6:10 a.m. before it was put out at 6:30 a.m. 

No one was injured in the fire which damaged P75,000 worth of properties. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

A total of 21 fire trucks and seven ambulances responded to the incident.
