Top 9 drug personality in San Carlos City nabbed

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested the Top 9 drug personality in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental in a buy-bust operation in Barrio Central, Purok Lawaan, Barangay 1 on Sunday, December 17.

Police Lt. Col. Jesus Mesahon Jr., San Carlos police chief, said the suspect, “Bobby,” was in the priority target list of high-value individuals (HVIs) in the city.

The 46-year-old suspect yielded 19.3 grams of suspected shabu worth P131,240.

Mesahon said the operation came after several arrested drug suspects identified Bobby as their source of illegal drugs.

He said the suspect was previously arrested for a drug offense but was released from jail due to plea bargaining.

Police confiscated from the suspect a bundle of transparent plastic sachets, two improvised plastic straws, an improvised tooter, P280, and the P500 marked money.
