Mayor Along: Mask up to stop Covid-19 spread this Christmas
Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan on Tuesday, Dec. 19, urged city residents to follow health and safety protocols to prevent the increase of Covid-19 cases during the holiday season.
*Ngayong panahon ng pagsasama-sama at pagsasalo-salo, pinag-dodoble ingat po natin ang lahat, lalong-lalo na ang mga buntis, senior citizens, may karamdaman, at ang mga hindi pa nakakatanggap ng bakuna laban sa COVID-19 (In this season of getting together and partying, let's double our efforts, especially pregnant women, senior citizens, those who are sick, and those who have not yet received the vaccine against Covid-19)," the mayor said.
He reminded residents to wear face masks when in crowded areas; practice proper washing of hands and usage of hand sanitizer and alcohol, keep their surroundings clean, and refrain from allowing other people to use their personal items, remain inside their homes if they experience symptoms of Covid-19.
He also encouraged those who haven't received their Covid-19 vaccinations to get their jabs to get protected from the disease.
