According to Moonton Games, the M5 world champions will have to select two heroes, one of which will be chosen to get the championship skin.

So far, three of the four championship skins are inspired by the MPL Philippines teams with the AP.Bren already owning one in the M2 series skin of Lancelot. Then named Bren Esports initially wanted to have Chou as its pick but eventually went for the assassin jungler which won them the title at the hands of Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno.

The Chou skin was then eventually picked up by ECHO when it won the M4 Worlds while Blacklist International fittingly chose Estes, one of the team’s signature heroes during the M3 Worlds. The other hero was Harith which was chosen by M1 champions EVOS Legends.

AP.Bren, though, had varying answers when asked about the hero they would pick for the M5 skin but Brody emerged as an initial favorite.

“Sa akin po siguro Arlott and Brody,” said roamer Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo who was also joined Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, Vincent “Pandora” Unigo and gold laner Marco “Super Marco” Requitano -- who has Brody as one of his signature picks -- in choosing the marksman hero.

Brody did provide the highlights in AP.Bren’s 4-3 Grand Finals win over Onic Esports, particularly in the game-clinching Game 7 where Super Marco finished with a 6-1-1 line and executed a crucial Torn Apart Memory Ultimate to take down Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol’s Baxia to secure the dagger Lord take.

Finals MVP David “Flaptzy” Canon, on the other hand, also chose Arlott and Thamus – two heroes he utilized during the seven-game series.

Diggie, Helcurt, Odette, Faramis, Claude and Fredrinn were the other heroes the players and the coaches mentioned
