Villaflor said that the shabu seized from the suspects may be part of the supply from big drug syndicates for the upcoming Dinagyang Festival here in January.
He lauded the PRO-6 Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU-6) led by Police Capt. Glen Soliman for leading one of the biggest drug hauls in Iloilo.
Villaflor also commended the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)-6 and the Janiuay Municipal Police Station for backing up the RPDEU-6.
Biare and Acosta are facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
