PCSO unveils 'Handog Pakabog'; no winner for P500-M Grand Lotto jackpot on Dec. 16 draw

Before rolling any of the lottery machines, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Saturday, Dec. 16, formally unfolded its newest program, "Handog Pakabog."

"We have a new program that we will be launching tonight, called 'Handog Pakabog'," PCSO General Manager Mel Robles said in Filipino.

"This is a promo aimed at increasing our jackpot prizes for the 6/58 (Ultra Lotto) and 6/55 (Grand Lotto) draws," he added.

In this initiative, the minimum jackpot prizes for both lotto draws will be boosted to P500 million.

Moreover, Robles expressed gratitude to lotto patrons and encouraged them to continue playing the lottery, emphasizing that every bet in this game also contributes to charity.

"So, this Christmas, as a token of gratitude to our fellow countrymen who continue to support PCSO games, this is our gift to bring joy to everyone this holiday season," the PCSO General Manager said.

"And we hope that they will support this, so that we can continue to serve through our charitable endeavors," he added.

 

Lottery result

 

There were no jackpot winners in the major lotto draws of the PCSO on its 9 p.m. draw on Dec. 16.

As per the agency, no one correctly guessed the winning digit combination for the Grand Lotto 6/55 of 25-20-24-28-06-09, with a jackpot prize of P500,000,000.

However, 94 bettors won the second prize and will receive P100,000, while 3,584 players will each receive P1,500 as the third prize.

The Grand Lotto draw is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Meanwhile, there was also no jackpot winner for Lotto 6/42 which has a jackpot prize of P12,277,242.80.

The winning digit combination was 38-42-14-34-27-31.

However, 21 bettors will each receive P24,000 for the second prize, and 1,147 players will each receive P800 for the third prize.

Lotto 6/42 draws are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Meanwhile, the digit games have yielded the following results: 7-8-9-7-6-5 for 6D Lotto, 6-8-6 for 3D Lotto, and 20-21 for 2D Lotto.
