FASHION PULIS: Risky failure

Sometime ago, a production gambled on pairing Beautiful Girl (BG) with Dashing Man (DM) in a project. While the heads thought the two had chemistry, the problem was that the two were going to be in a romantic-themed project coming in from the cold. 

BG was a prized talent, whereas DM was a sought after leading man. Both have proven they could act given their various awards from various respected bodies. 

Following the formula, an angle outside of the project had to be nourished to get the public interested. Thus, the two were publicized to be at a getting to know you stage and subsequently, were into a relationship.

Their social media accounts hinted that they were more than friends, which made the fans excited. 

Sadly, this strategy of building an image that the two were romantically involved did not translate into impressive ratings of their project. When the project ended, the social media flirting of BG and DM stopped as well.

When both were in between jobs, nothing much was heard about the status of their relationship.

Then, the news about the breakup of BG and DM floated. The story raised many eyebrows as many realized that BG and DM never admitted they were officially together. Hence, netizens who followed the two wondered how the two could have ended a relationship that was not acknowledged at all.

Second Thoughts

These days, talents have been making an exodus by moving on to other managers, and no longer putting loyalty as top priority. At the risk of losing fans and incurring bashing, talents who have decided to leave do so because they need to and it is not about the money. 

Is it true that management is on pins and needles as Talented Personality (TP) has not signified any intention to continue given that her contract will soon end? 

The rumors behind TP is that her alleged decision to leave is due to how The Management (TM) seemed to have negated her in favor of another. Thus, when other companies heard of the uneasiness of TP, they started to send feelers.

Among these companies are Aggressive Team (AT), Well-known Talent group (WT), and Interested Team (IT). AT has been signing up talents unexpectedly and has so far been doing impressive effort in negotiations for their talents. WT has long been in the background but has a solid roster of artists and commendable projects, as well. Meanwhile, IT has the resources to cater to TP. 

The talk is that TP wants to keep relations and projects with TM, which already makes signing up with IT a dark horse. WT has much to offer and has proven it can provide its talents with worthwhile projects that bring out their best. AT is rumored to be in the lead as TP has ties with certain talents. Still, TM has made its offer in recognizing that TP is very valuable to their team.

Truly, 2024 will be an exciting year as TP is expected to make the huge announcement. Will she be charting a new course with new people to work with or will she stay on and face the possibility of bumping into old faces?
