The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 446 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the national total to 4,128,961.

As of Dec. 15, there were no new fatalities reported, maintaining the country's fatality rate at 1.6 percent.
Meanwhile, active cases currently stand at 4,334.
Recoveries continue to climb, reaching 4,057,832 individuals, resulting in a robust recovery rate of 98.3 percent.
Regarding Covid-19 bed occupancy, according to the updated data provided by the DOH on Dec. 14, it highlighted that 21.18 percent of the 1,816 designated ICU beds are in use, with non-ICU beds showing a 15.98 percent occupancy rate.
Additionally, vacant rate of mechanical ventilators for Covid patients is 1,824 or 95.35 percent.
Despite these encouraging data, the health department issued a reminder for the public to remain vigilant.
Emphasizing the ongoing importance of adhering to basic health standards, the DOH urged citizens to wear properly fitting face masks, stay in well-ventilated areas, and promptly isolate individuals displaying Covid-19 symptoms.
