Parañaque LGU, Manila Doctors Hospital ink MOU for practice-based residency training program

The Parañaque city government and the Manila Doctors Hospital inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for practice-based residency training program on Friday, Dec. 15.

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez was represented by city administrator Atty. Voltaire Dela Cruz and Dra. Olga Virtusio, head of the City Health Office, during the MOU signing with Manila Doctors Hospital medical director, Dr. Eugenio Reyes; Arlene P. Ledesma, president; and hospital director Dr. Hian Ho N. Kua.

Olivarez said the MOU states the partnership of the city government and the Manila Doctors Hospital for practice-based residency training program in family and community medicine.

He said the MOU also aims to improve the city’s Universal Health Care Law by giving the medical officers proper training.

The mayor said District 2 City Councilor Tin Esplana, chairperson on Committee on Health, and Ospital ng Parañque 2 Hospital director Dr. Patrick Cruz also attended the MOU signing.
