Pasay LGU holds 'Paskuhan para sa batang Pasayeño

The local government of Pasay City distributed gifts to 3,000 day care students at the Cuneta Astrodome on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the “Paskuhan para sa Batang Pasayeño” is a project of the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) aimed at giving Christmas cheers to day care students.

Rubiano said the gift packs distributed to children contains Christmas ham, school supplies, raincoats, toys, fruits, and grocery items.

She told the children that they have a special place in her heart, especially during Christmastime, and makes it a point that the local government initiates activities that will benefit them.

She urged them to be always thankful and grateful for the life and blessings that they have been receiving.

Rubiano said her get-together with the city's children also gave her the opportunity to gift their parents with grocery packs.
