NEW YORK (AFP) -- Global fan voting to determine starting lineups for the 73rd NBA All-Star Game begins on Tuesday, Dec. 19, and concludes on January 20, the league announced on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Top players from the Eastern Conference and Western Conference will meet on February 18 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Fan voting through the league website and NBA App will permit one full ballot submission each day with six special "3-for-1" days when all votes are trebled, the first of those coming on December 25.
Fan voting will account for 50% of total balloting with NBA players and a media panel each weighing in at 25% with single ballots. A weighted ranking will determine the five starters for each team with fan voting used as a tie-breaker.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Game starters will be revealed on January 25.
Reserve players for the All-Star Game, selected by NBA head coaches, will be revealed on February 1.
