Lawmen bag P3.3-M shabu, marijuana in Ifugao

LAMUT, Ifugao â€“ Four suspected drug pushers were arrested and shabu and marijuana worth P3.3 million were seized in a buy-bust operation in Poblacion East here on Thursday, December 14.

The suspects were identified as Munib Boransing, 26; Faisolah Mangking, 29; Christopher Bacani, 22, and Monjewel Santos, 19, all residents of Poblacion, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Recovered by the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency from the suspects were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 12 grams valued at P81,600, 17 bricks of dried marijuana leaves weighing 17 kilograms worth P2 million, and 10 kilos of elongated dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops with an estimated price of P1.2 million.

On-site inventory of the evidence was conducted by barangay officials and media representatives.

Suspect is facing drug-related charges.
