Active duty personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) will receive an additional P5,000 following the approval of the disbursement of their Productivity Enhancement Incentives (PEI).
The distribution of the PEI follows the guidelines outlined in Section 6 of Executive Order (EO) No. 201, series of 2016 which states: “Starting from FY 2016, the Productivity Enhancement Incentive shall be given not earlier than December 15 of every year to all eligible government employees at Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000) each, to enhance the productivity of government employees.”
PNP Chief, Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. expressed gratitude for the "unwavering dedication and hard work" displayed by each member of the PNP for this year.
"Our uniformed personnel demonstrate exemplary commitment to public service, often working tirelessly to maintain peace and order in our communities. The Productivity Enhancement Incentive serves as a small token of our appreciation for their sacrifices and acknowledges their critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the Filipino people," he said.
Acorda emphasized that more than a financial reward, the PEI symbolized the government’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its personnel.
He assured the cops that the PNP shall remain committed to fostering a work environment that recognizes and values the contributions of its members.
He also extend his gratitude to the national government for its continuous support and dedication to the welfare of PNP personnel.
