BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office-13 apprehended 77 wanted persons in the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations from December 4 to 11.

The PRO 13-Regional Operations Division (ROD) said the Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO) and Surigao del Sur PPO nabbed 19 individuals each, Surigao del Norte PPO, 17; Butuan City Police Office, 11; Agusan del Sur PPO, nine, and Regional Intelligence Division (RID) with two.
PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said that among those arrested was alias "Tata," 46, tagged as the No. 2 most wanted person in the Caraga region.
Tata was arrested on December 6 in Barangay Cambinocot, Cebu City by the Regional Intelligence Division-13, Bayugan City Police Station, and Talamban Police Station 8 of the Cebu City Police Office.
He had a standing warrant of arrest for murder dated February 16, 2005. No bail was recommended for his release by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 7, 10th Judicial Region, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.
Kraft commended arresting police officers for their achievement.
