ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Philippine Coast Guard at the Port of Zamboanga rescued four fishermen after their motor boat capsized in the sea of Barangay Tumalutab here on Thursday, December 14.
Coast Guard personnel, together with two motor bancas, Jastin and Haima, launched search and rescue operations for the victims upon learning about the incident.

The fishermen were holding on to their boat when they were spotted in the area.
The victims said they were fishing at the Tumalutab fishing grounds when they encountered huge waves, strong winds, and zero visibility, causing their boat to capsize.
They were rescued and in good physical condition when they returned to their families.
