Imee inaugurates newly renovated Quezon town plaza

TIAONG, Quezon â€“ Sen. Imee Marcos, with Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea and the municipal council, inaugurated the newly renovated town plaza here on Wednesday, December 11.

Mea said the plaza, in the past, had an unsightly appearance. Appalled, Mea said he vowed that people of this town will have a plaza they could use.

A renovation lasted several months and now, he said, the plaza has airconditioned units, improved stage, comfortable seats, a dressing room, clean toilets, and Persons with Disability-friendly facilities.

Mea added that the plaza can be used by the people of this town for free for occasions such as weddings, parties, and sports activities and hopes that it will reinvigorate tourism here.

Meanwhile, Marcos, guest of honor, donated a van in support of the nutrition program here.
