LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police nabbed 25 wanted persons in the Cordillera from December 3 to 10.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said 57 municipalities in the region recorded zero crime incidents.
The Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) said the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) arrested 10 wanted persons, followed by the Ifugao PPO with six, Baguio City Police Office (CPO) with three, Apayao PPO and Kalinga PPO with two each, and Abra PPO with one.
Two of those apprehended were most wanted personalities on the provincial level.
Fifty-seven municipalities in the region and two police stations in Baguio City were crime-free as a result of the intensified police presence.
Zero crimes were recorded in 21 municipalities in Abra, five in Apayao, eight in Benguet, six in Kalinga, nine in Mountain Province, and eight in Ifugao.
Out of the 10 police stations in Baguio City, Police Station 4 (Loakan) and 8 (Kennon Road) logged zero crime incidents.
