Drug suspect under plea bargaining arrested anew in Rizal

A 51-year-old man previously arrested by the police was once again nabbed for drug possession in Taytay, Rizal, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said.

The suspect, identified as "Tisoy," was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Taytay Rizal Police in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal. He was previously arrested un Cainta, Rizal in 2018 but was released via plea bargaining.

Recovered from the suspect were P448,500 worth of shabu and other drug paraphernalia.

He is now detained at the Taytay Custodial Facility and is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or RA 9165 while the recovered pieces of evidence were brought to the Rizal Forensic Unit for disposition.
