Returning Bolick grateful to former team NorthPort

Robert Bolick has nothing but love and gratitude toward his former team NorthPort as he opened a new chapter to his PBA career with NLEX after a brief stint in the Japan B.League.

Robert Bolick has nothing but love and gratitude toward his former team NorthPort as he opened a new chapter to his PBA career with NLEX after a brief stint in the Japan B.League.

The high-scoring guard took to social media to express his thanks to his former team which drafted him third overall in the 2018 draft.

“To my @northportph family, thank you very much for all the love and support since day 1. You gave me the opportunity to start my career as a PBA player,” wrote Bolick a day before his expected debut with the Road Warriors.

“Thank you for the trust and for treating me as family. I will never forget everything and all the memories we’ve shared on and off the court,” he added while also thanking NorthPort governor Erick Arejola along with his former coaches Pido Jarencio and Bonnie Tan.

Bolick was also glad to be finally back home and was just as thankful with the blessings that he’s been getting despite what he called ‘redirections’ to his career.

After emerging as the top gun for the Batang Pier ever since his rookie year, Bolick opted out of NorthPort and signed with Fukushima Firebonds in the Japanese league. The stint proved to be short-lived as he returned to the country paving the way to his PBA comeback with NLEX.

“To my new team, my new family, @arangkadanlex , thank you very much for the opportunity and for welcoming me here in my new home. I am so excited to start this new chapter of my career,” wrote Bolick.

“I will not let you down. I will do everything, and (do) my very best to contribute to the future championship of this team,” he added.
