TIAONG, Quezon – This town kicked off the Yuletide season with the lighting of a giant Christmas tree at the municipal hall on Monday night, December 11.

The switch-on ceremony was led by Mayor Vincent Arjay Mea and witnessed by the municipal council, barangay officials, and residents.
Also lighted was Christmas lights on the Maharlika Highway and this town’s official Christmas song, “Let’s Make Tiaong Stronger Together, Mea Isang Pasko,” produced by local talents was launched during the event capped by a firework display that lasted for several minutes.
Mea offered free food to people at the food park and gave Christmas cash gift to children.
The Christmas theme for this year in this town is "Mea Isang Paskong Sama-sama."
