BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office-13 on Monday, December 11, deployed 296 rookie police officers to secure the holiday season in the Caraga region and this city.

Twenty will be deployed to the Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office, 31 here, 55 to the Surigao del Sur PPO, 60 to the Agusan del Sur PPO, and 130 to the Surigao del Norte PPO.
They will boost police presence on the streets, major thoroughfares, places of worship and engagements, and other areas of public convergence.
A standby force is ready for deployment in air and sea ports, public markets, malls, and other vital installations in the region.
“We have kept Caraga safe; we shall keep it through the end of the year. Our people need us, especially during the Yuletide season that is why we have to do our best to deliver a more improved police service,” PRO-13 chief Police Brig. Gen. John Kirby Kraft said.
He reminded field commanders to adhere to the program thrust SAFE Caraga (Seen, Approachable, Felt, and Efficient) in the day-to-day performance of duties and responsibilities.
The send-off ceremony was attended by the PRO-13 command group led by Kraft at police regional headquarters here.
