Taguig police nab 2 drug suspects

Two suspects were arrested by the Taguig police in a buy-bust operation in Barangay New Lower Bicutan on Dec. 10.

The police identified the suspects only by their aliases, Taliban, 47, and Eugene, 48, who were nabbed on MRT Street at about 11:15 p.m. for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

During the operation, authorities recovered 12 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 14 grams with a total value of P95,200. two P100 bills utilized as buy-bust money and two cell phones.

Seized pieces of evidence will be turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.

Complaints against the two suspects will be filed with the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
