Metro Manila, rest of PH to experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, Dec. 11, said that "easterlies" (winds blowing from the east) continued to prevail across the Philippines.

"At present, easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are affecting the entire archipelago," PAGASA weather specialist Veronica Torres said in an update in a mix of English and Filipino.
"And we can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a chance of localized thunderstorms for Metro Manila and the entire country," she added.
Meanwhile, Torres also emphasized during the live forecast that there were no tropical cyclones or low-pressure areas (LPA) currently being monitored within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
In addition to the absence of an LPA update, she also highlighted that there was no gale warning reported across the country.
