Three persons were hurt in a fire that hit a residential area in Upper Nawasa, Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City early Monday morning, Dec. 11.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the victims as Cymore Decalay, 47, who sustained laceration on his left knee; Marie Honey Rapan, 33, who got minor abrasions in her right knee and wrist ; and a 17-year-old boy who had minor abrasion on his right thigh.

The victims were given immediate medical attention.
The BFP said the fire was raised to the first alarm at around 3:42 a.m. It escalated to the third alarm at around 4:10 a.m.
It was declared under control at around 5:47 a.m. and was extinguished at 6:49 a.m.
Authorities placed an estimated P50,000 damage to property caused by the blaze.
Probers have yet to determine the number of houses burned and the number of families affected, and the cause of the fire.
