A man tagged as the No. 1 most wanted person in the Southern Police District (SPD) for a statutory rape case was arrested by the police in Taguig on Dec. 9.
The suspect, only identified by the SPD under the alias Emo, 24, is the No. 1 most wanted person in the district level for December.

He was arrested by a team from the Taguig police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section on President Quirino Street, Barangay South Signal Village.
Emo is facing charges for two counts of statutory rape and statutory lascivious conduct. He was nabbed based on warrants of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69.
The warrants of arrest had no recommended bail for the statutory rape case and P180,000 for the statutory lascivious conduct.
Datahan was the judge who handled the rape case of TV host and comedian Ferdinand “Vhong” Navarro.
Emo is detained at the station custodial facility of the Taguig police.
