3 nabbed in Bulacan drug sting

Police collared a woman and two men during a drug entrapment operation that also yielded P102,000 of suspected shabu in Barangay Minuyan Proper, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) on Saturday evening, Dec. 9.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Officer identified the arrested drug suspects as Evelyn Mistica Navarrete, 47, den operator; John Lesley Bacon Dumayas, 35, and Rommel Sestual Quinto, 22.

The operating teams recovered four pieces of transparent plastic sachets of more or less 15 grams of meth (shabu) amounting to P102,000; assorted drug paraphernalia, and marked money.

The operation was through the combined efforts of PDEA Bulacan, PDEA Regional Office III, Bulacan Police Provincial Office-Police Intelligence Unit, and local police.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
