The Flying Titans seek an impressive 10th straight victory in their 6 p.m. tussle with the Crossovers that would improve their 9-1 win-loss record at the end of their eliminations campaign.
But expect a stiff challenge from fellow semifinalist Chery Tiggo, which is licking its wound from 25-22, 24-26, 25-20, 25-16 loss to pacesetter Creamline last Tuesday, Nov. 28, that put them at solo third with an 8-2 card.
A thrilling offensive battle looms between the Flying Titans and the Crossovers as both teams boast of hard-hitting spikers who have been fueling their respective drives.
Sisi Rondina continues to spearhead Choco Mucho with her consistent showing, with reinforcements also coming from Bea De Leon, Isa Molde and Maddie Madayag.
Chery Tiggo, meanwhile, has the dynamic sister duo of Eya and EJ Laure along with Mylene Paat and Ponggay Gaston in keeping its core intact.
Equally exciting would be the matchup between versatile setters Deanna Wong of Choco Mucho and Jasmine Nabor of Chery Tiggo in their attempt to provide some variety of plays for their spikers.
Meanwhile, also-ran squads Nxled and Farm Fresh raise the curtain at 4 p.m. in their bid to end their campaign on a high note.
The Chameleons aim to end a two-game slide and hike their 3-7 tally while the Foxies seek a follow-up of their 25-10, 25-18, 24-26, 25-16 victory over the Galeries Tower Highrisers last Tuesday to improve their 2-8 card.
