New creative direction means reinvention. This is why, in time for this season, fall and winter in the fashion calendar, Givenchy has unveiled its latest collection under the supervision of American designer and entrepreneur Matthew M. Williams. Carrying his artistic vision, the French luxury brand reopens the doors of its boutique at The Shoppes Solaire with brand new interiors radiating a brand new energy.

Flaunting the kind of edgy elegance Givenchy is known for, the boutique’s industrial yet cozy interior design echoes so flawlessly the attractiveness of each piece on display. Of course, taking centerstage is the newly released Voyou, a shoulder bag that integrates biker details in its design with the use of slouchy luxury materials such as cashmere and leather. Each piece features similar hardware that defines the essence of the accessory line, highlighting both the functional and decorative uses of buckles and bands. The new Party Voyou is a scaled down version of the bag crafted in satin-nylon and velvet, dressed up with the use of a chain handle, making it perfect for evening wear and nights out.
Moreover, among the other women’s bags on display are the iconic Antigona, variations of the quilted Micro 4G, new iterations of the Cut Out, and the everyday G-Tote. The men’s section of the store features an evolution of the classic Pandora bag influenced by Williams’ creative direction, as well as other accessories such as the Antigona crossbody bag and the 4G embroidered denim cap. Subtle, stylish, and sophisticated.

The Givenchy ready-to-wear collection, though not entirely carried by the Solaire boutique, exudes the same kind of allure. Maintaining the aura of humble sophistication, each thoughtfully crafted piece depicts a unique interpretation of the visual dialogue between Parisian chic and American cool. This, in turn, provides the customer with timeless pieces that possess a simple elegance that creates space for layering and creativity.
