Boy Abunda, Vice Ganda, other celebs react to KathNiel split

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's breakup continues to be a hot topic on social media with netizens sharing their thoughts on the issue.

Not a few celebrities have joined in.

Boy Abunda actually tackled the issue on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

He said, “I was wrong. I thought they would be able to fix what needed to be fixed.

“I can imagine the excruciating pain they have to bear now, Daniel, Kathryn, KathNiels.

“I honor this pain. I cry for Kathniel as a fan and friend.

"I respect their decision to part ways knowing that they tried to save this love story with respect but one that ended with respect to paraphrase Kathryn.

“Just finished reading her statement. Class is not dead. What a decent girl Kathryn Bernardo is.

“At a time when vicious ranting is common place, she chose to be circumspect. She deserves love and respect.

“With this breakup, Kathryn Bernardo has proven that a proper ending is possible. No matter the pain. Bravo Kathryn!

“Daniel’s statement just came out! I shall never forget what DJ told me in an interview — when I asked him ‘What is worse than betrayal?’

Vice Ganda, meanwhile, took to social media to air support for Daniel.

He wrote, "Yakap na mahigpit Deej!"

Same with Mavy Legaspi who wrote, "Yakap, Kuya Deej."

Ruffa Gutierrez posted, "I'm crying right now. I love you both."

Daniel's mom, Karla Estrada, posted, "We Love you both..."

Kathryn's mom, Min Bernardo, posted, '"KathNiels, Kathcakes, Solid DJ maraming maraming salamat sa inyo, hindi dito nagtatapos ang ating pagsasama."
