The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Friday, Dec. 1, said the northeast monsoon or "amihan" still affects Northern Luzon while the easterlies prevail in the rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA warned the public in Aurora, Isabela, Apayao, Batanes, and Cagayan including Babuyan Islands for possible threats of flash floods and landslides during moderate to heavy rains as cloudy skies with rains will be felt due to amihan.
PAGASA also said Central Luzon, Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to amihan.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the localized thunderstorms and the easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
The public was also warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms in the affected areas.
