Korean singer-songwriter Nahee passes away


Korean singer-songwriter Nahee (real name Kim Na-hee) passed away on Nov. 8. She was 24. 

Nahee debuted in 2019 with the single “Blue City” and had other songs across a variety of genres including ballad and pop, Korean media reported.

She also participated in writing lyrics and composing songs, showing off her musical abilities as a singer-songwriter.

After her debut, Nahee (나히) released other songs including “Gloomy Day,” “Blue Night” and “Love Note.” 

Last July, Nahee released the song “Rose,” commenting, “I want to say that my songs so far are like flowers. This song is a story I want to convey to many people who love those flowers.”

Nahee’s cause of death was not disclosed. Her last Instagram post was on Nov. 7 or a day before she passed away. 

Nahee’s wake was held in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. Her funeral was held on Nov. 10.
