A fire hit a residential area in San Andres Bukid, Manila, affecting around 58 families and damaging around P100,000 worth of property on Friday morning, Nov. 10.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire started in a three-story house at 1254 Morales Street, San Andres Bukid.
It said that around 15 houses were gutted, displacing 58 families or 210 individuals.
The fire was raised to the first alarm at 5:36 a.m. and escalated to the second alarm at 5:48 a.m.
The fire reached the third alarm at 6:15 a.m. and placed under control at 7:19 a.m. It was extinguished at 7:54 a.m.
Arson investigators said that no casualties were reported.
BFP said that the affected families are currently staying at the barangay hall and a school in the area.
Authorities are still determining the origin of the fire.
