2,800 pass November 2023 licensure exam for midwives


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, Nov. 9, that out of 4,119 examinees, 2,800 or 67.98 percent successfully passed the November 2023 Midwives Licensure Examination (MLE).

The examination took place from Nov. 5 to 6

Janelle Toledo Fauni, an examinee from Cavite State University (CSU), achieved the top spot in the board exam result with an average of 91.65 percent.

Following closely, Mary Jane Sayson Espiso, also from CSU, secured second place with a score of 91.55 percent.

Meanwhile, Lerah Donor Dalid from Misamis University-Ozamis City placed third with an average of 91.30 percent.

Facilitated by the Board of Midwifery, the examination took place in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Kidapawan, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
