Dalipe enjoined them to let the people’s trust guide them in their service as they begin their three-year service as leaders of their barangays.
“As you take your oaths today, remember the trust that the people have placed in you, and let that trust be your guiding light,” said Dalipe.
Dalipe administered their oath pursuant to Republic Act No. 6733 or the Revised Administrative Code.
Department of Interior and Local Government-Zamboanga City Director Ginagene Vaño-Uy asked the officials to comply with three important requirements before starting office – taking their oath, submission of Statement of Campaign Expenses to the Commission on Elections, and securing a DILG clearance on inventory and turnover of barangay properties and responsibilities.
