Man injured in Taguig fire

A man was injured when a fire hit a home in Taguig on Oct. 8. 

The Taguig City Fire Department said the fire started from a house in Purok 1, Labao St., Barangay Napindan at about 4:14 p.m.

The fire reached the first alarm at 4:20 p.m. before it was put out at 4:46 p.m. 

Authorities identified the injured as David Pangan, 63, who suffered first degree burns on the shoulder, back, and arm. 

The fire affected three houses with eight families or 26 individuals and damaged P203,000 worth of properties. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. A total of eight fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the incident.
