Here comes the bride!

After announcing her engagement earlier this year, actress LJ Reyes gave her fans a sneak peek when she shared a photo wearing a wedding gown. Although there are no further details about where her wedding, fans were thrilled to see LJ in white.

In August, she shared her prenup photos on social media with her fiancé, Philip Evangelista in New York. It was only last May 30 when LJ announced her engagement to her non-showbiz partner.

In Sept. 2021, LJ moved to New York with her kids, Aki and Summer, following her publicized breakup with actor Paolo Contis. LJ and Paolo separated after six years of dating.

During her interview with "24 Oras" in October, the actress asked if she was ready to forgive Paolo.

"Hindi madaling ibigay ang forgiveness, di ba? Lahat naman tayo we get hurt, we get angry, but you work on it every day. To forgive people, to forgive yourself, or whoever. You pray about it. For me, hindi kasi siya madaling bagay na ibigay. So, surrender lang talaga kay God, and I’m working on it," she said.

It can be recalled that Paolo and LJ called it quits after Paolo was involved in a rumor of having a relationship with his co-star Yen Santos while shooting their film "Faraway Land" in Baguio. 

But in an Interview with Boy Abunda on Jan. 30, Paolo reiterated that Yen Santos wasn't a third party to their relationship. He clarified that they were no longer together when Paolo and Yen were shooting on Baguio.

"Noong nag-Baguio kami ni Yen, nasa states na sina LJ noon. Nagmukhang baliktad, because your interview with LJ came out, pero wala na kami sa Baguio noon. So, feeling ng tao, habang iniinterview si LJ, nasa Baguio ako. Pero when you were interviewing LJ, mga at least 10 days na silang nasa States. I left for Baguio, nasa states na sila,” Paolo said.

(When Yen and I went to Baguio, LJ was already in the states. It seemed the other way around, because your interview with LJ came out, we were no longer in Baguio then. So, people feel while interviewing LJ, I was in Baguio. But when you were interviewing LJ, they had been in the States for at least ten days. I left for Baguio, and they are already in the states.)
