'Kalinga sa Maynila' resumes operation after BSKE break
Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan led the resumption of "Kalinga sa Maynila" on Wednesday, Nov. 8. after the program was temporarily suspended due to the holding of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

The program was held again on Zaragoza Street in Tondo, Manila, in front of the Rosauro Almario Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., giving services to the residents of Barangays 17, 19, 28, and 30.
The program includes the usual "ugnayan", wherein the residents were able to ask anything, and Lacuna-Pangan addressed all the questions herself.
During the program, a job fair, a service fair, free medical consultations, and free basic medicines were offered to all residents who joined.
It said that Kalinga sa Maynila program brings the basic and essential services of Manila City Hall directly to its residents.
"Ang ugnayan ay ating isinasagawa sa ating mga nasasakupan kung saan maaring magbigay o maglabas ng suhestiyon, galit, saloobin at mga tanong (We communicate with our constituents where they can give or raise suggestions, anger, thoughts and questions)," the mayor said.
The residents may also approach the help desks in the area for their personal needs.
The program was temporarily suspended on Sept. 15 for the BSK elections,.
