Two warehouses in the City of Meycauayan, Bulacan were gutted by a fire that raged from Tuesday night, Nov. 7, until Wednesday morning, Nov. 8.
In an initial report by the Bulacan Provincial Fire Protection (BPFP), the warehouses, located in the boundaries of Barangays Langka and Libtong, were being used to store general merchandise and school supplies.
The blaze started at around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

The fire originated from the mezzanine of one of the establishments of South Star General Merchandize owned by Bomir Ortiz, Mic Lao, and Jackie Lao.
The location of the warehouses and the scarcity of water sources were the reasons why firefighters found it difficult to place the fire under control.
Fire volunteers said that at around 1:07 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, the fire reached the fourth alarm.
It was declared under control at 7:04 a.m.
As of this writing, fire fighters have yet to put out the fire.
Personnel of the Meycauayan City police station provided security in the place of the incident.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
