The Pasig local government recently inaugurated the newly renovated local office of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in the city.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Robert "Dodot" Jaworski Jr., Rep. Roman Romulo, and other city officials graced the brief ceremony.

The new PSA building, located within the Pasig City Hall Compound, is an expanded office space with added rooms, counters, and chairs to accommodate a larger volume of clients.
Sotto lauded the good services given by the local PSA branch, noting how the past state of their office hampered their operations as frontline services for the public.

He said the local government assisted the PSA in improving their queuing system and rehabilitating their office to better cater to customers.
The mayor noted that the PSA is a national government agency, but the local government helps its local branches as needed.

PSA and the Pasig governemnt readily coordinated with each other to provide the needs of the new office's information technoloy (IT) system to fit the renovated infrastructure.
Sotto also said that the PSA building remains structurally safe.
"Maganda na 'yung service, mas magiging maganda 'yung experience ng mga kliente natin (Not only is the service good, but our client's experience will be better)," he remarked.
