CEU's 21st Quality Awards Day set to honor employees' excellence

To honor exceptional teaching and non-teaching staff who exemplify excellence and quality.

Centro Escolar University gears up for its 21st Quality Awards Day to honor exceptional teaching and non-teaching staff who exemplify excellence and quality. The ceremony will take place at the Librada Avelino Auditorium in CEU Manila on Nov. 8, 2023 at 8:00 a.m.

The day will kick off with a Eucharistic celebration at 7:30 a.m. in the CEU chapel, followed by the official opening of an exhibit at 8:30 a.m. The award presentation ceremony is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.

During this event, a fresh batch of awardees will be unveiled in various categories, including Best Quality Circle, Best IQA Sub-Team, CEU STARS, Research of the Year, Non-Teaching Employees of the Year (both Supervisory and Non-Supervisory), Teacher of the Year, and Attendance and Punctuality Award.

The nominees and selection process for each category were overseen by dedicated Search Committees, each with its own Chair: Dr. Rommel Jotic (Best Quality Circle Committee), Marian Gigi Cusi (Best IQA Sub-Team Committee), Dr. Maria Corazon Andoy (CEU STARS Committee), Dr. Julieta Dungca (Research of the Year Committee), Ivan Perry Mercado (Non-Teaching Employees of the Year), and Dr. Maria Donabelle U. Dean (Teacher of the Year Committee). These committees were further assisted by co-chairs and committee members.

This highly anticipated event is spearheaded by the Overall Chair, Dr. Pearly Lim, who serves as the Acting Vice President for CEU Makati and Dr. Erna Yabut, Vice President, Office for Research, Innovation and Institutional Development as Consultant.
