39 pass October 2023 metallurgical engineering licensure exam — PRC

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 39 out of 64 examinees passed the October 2023 metallurgical engineering licensure examination.

Examinees from the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD), Aaron Dave Tabuzo Tomas (first place), Ande Victor Puyo Suarez (second place), and Sarah Marcelin Madrasto Evasco (third place), achieved three of the highest rankings, PRC said on Monday, Oct. 9.
Akira Tacmo Timtim, Yule Justin Meralles Paculba, and Chier Andriane Almacen Quelbio, all Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology graduates, earned the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions, respectively.

The examination took place in Metro Manila and Cagayan De Oro from Oct. 4 to 6.
It was facilitated by the Board of Metallurgical Engineering headed by its chairman, Agustin M. Fudolig, and member Juancho Pablo S. Calvez.
PRC said passers may register online for their Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration from Nov. 3 and 6.
Passers can view the instructions for registration at prc.gov.ph.
A downloaded duly completed oath form or "Panunumpa ng Propesyonal," notice of admission, two passport-sized pictures (colored with a white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps, and a short brown envelope are required for registration.
PRC said the date and venue of the oathtaking will be announced soon.
